I took this at Silverstone during the 1996 British Grand Prix. The cheers were deafening! This man doesn't do his country any good by reinforcing all the negative stereotypes...
Later I returned to Silverstone for a blast round the circuit in a Ford Racing Puma:
This was an incredible experience - literally breathtaking.
Where you'd expect to brake, you accelerate.
Where you'd expect to accelerate, you accelerate even more.
No wonder Murray gets worked up.
I'll be on the track again just as soon as I get my breath back.
